Case Studies
Nooshin is experienced in all areas of Endodontics, below are some case studies of specific treatments she has performed.
Upper left first molar
Pre-treatment: Root canal retreatment of the UL6, negotiating the ledged mesial root canal in order to reach the infected apical area.
Post-treatment: Root canal retreatment of the UL6, negotiating the ledged mesial root canal in order to reach the infected apical area.
Lower right second molar
Pre-treatment: Root canal retreatment of the LR7, and negotiating the sharp apiral curves.
Post-treatment: Root canal retreatment of the LR7, and negotiating the sharp apiral curves.
Upper right second molar and second premolar
Pre-treatment: Root canal treatment of the UR7 and retreatment of the UR5. Note the severely curved mesiobuccal root of the UR7
Post-treatment: Root canal treatment of the UR7 and retreatment of the UR5. Note the severely curved mesiobuccal root of the UR7
Lower left first molar
Pre-treatment: Root canal treatment of the LL6
Post-treatment: Root canal treatment of the LL6
Upper left second premolar
Pre-treatment: Root canal retreatment of the UL5 including the removal of a broken spiral filler from the root canals of the UL5.
Post-treatment: Root canal retreatment of the UL5 including the removal of a broken spiral filler from the root canals of the UL5.
Lower left second molar
Pre-treatment: Root canal treatment of the LL7 with acute apical curves in the mesial root. Whilst the LL6 deemed to be unrestorable and had to be extracted. The patient later chose to replace the missing LL6 with an implant supported crown.
Post-treatment: Root canal treatment of the LL7 with acute apical curves in the mesial root. Whilst the LL6 deemed to be unrestorable and had to be extracted. The patient later chose to replace the missing LL6 with an implant supported crown.
Lower right first and second molars
Pre-treatment: Retreatment of the LR7 with a sinus tract and LR6.
Post-treatment: The two year follow up of the retreated LR6 and LR7 shows complete healing of the areas and the sinus tract.
Upper left first molar
Pre-treatment: Upper first molars often have two canals which can be located more predictably under the microscope
Post-treatment: Upper first molars often have two canals which can be located more predictably under the microscope
